Achy Backy
After receiving rejections via emails & letters, it feels nice to get to finally see a face who says, "If you don't get this job, we'll try to fix you up with another"!! That's what this recruitment agency has done for all their applicants, and I soon realised their applicants were not at all anxious if they didn't get this 9mth gig. OH...

We did all sorta recruitment assessment test thingy yesterday. Was supposed to have a 3hr session, but it ended after 4hrs! It was all well worth it though... My typing speed is 63words per minute with 100% accuracy... And as I'm typing this, it's not even close to 5% accurate cos my system is updating on its virus & running a scan of everything. I can't see what I'm typing... the whole thing becomes jerky when the scan is being run.

Anyway, yesterday they made us do all the typing on a mega-old gigantically hard keyboard... I finally managed to get a hang of it by the time the actual speed test was!! I wonder if I can type faster with the newer soft keyboard ~shrugs~ Well, they told me that most companies want people with a speed of 60words and above. So, that's a good thing... >.<

Now I'm pretty stoned & everything is aching!! I dunno if it's due to the fact that I had to walk 30mins to the train station, and then walk to the shops with Chui to buy a blouse for the interview... It's a nice black one with vertical silver lines... and it's one that has a thousand hooks by the front to avoid any embarrassing peep-hole effect of the usual button-down front. But I digress....

After that quick shop, Chui made me walk about 3 blocks down & brought me to a very Jap cafe that serves very nice food at an extremely reasonable price. Almost all of my friends here have been raving about this shop too!! And I got myself the best Katsu Don that I've ever tasted in Perth (trust me, no Jap food tastes like what their names suggest in Perth, WA!!), so this one was really nice... and it was only $4.50 a set!! WHAT?! @.@ UHHUH!!!

After gobbling down our food, we had to walk back, and along the way, Chui dragged me into Holiday Inn so that I could change into my business attire for the interview. Three blocks back & another block down to get to the building. FWAAHH... the building is gorgeous!! I've missed skyrises & taking lifts and I was enjoying every minute of it!! And once in the room, I managed to get a seat facing out of the window... It's so good to be able to look down onto something again!!! REALLY!!!

Anyway, after the whole session, I had to walk back to the train station... and was dreading to hear that Kris had to work late. ~sob sob~ I don't wanna walk in heels for 30mins all the way home... but he was there at my stop... I was glad I took the express train too!! All the way from the city to the station before mine, zooming by like 8 stops!! The guy next to me obviously didn't read the signboard & he had his earphones on & didn't hear the 5 announcements made at the 3 city stations.

And... as soon as I got home, Kirstie, my mgr, called... she was on the way from Carousel with my products... YAY!!! How exciting!!! Went through the stock with her while her son ran around the house with the toy car he found on our mantel. And soon after she & Calen left, we went to KMart to get the rowing machine & some dinner... I had grilled fish & chips & italian salad & iced chocolate with whipped cream & ice-cream and Kris had a HUGE chicken schnitzel, chips & salad with his cappucino. Just into the salad, Aunty Jan called saying she & Bak Nor were coming over to get the products she ordered. We rushed home & got that done... And Kris fixed the machine... and by then, I was beat!!!

I really didn't wanna get out of bed today... but I am... I've got a splitting headache & my right eye is watering non-stop!! But at least I've got my new blouse washed for upcoming interviews. Soooo.... I'm really tired now.... gonna nap a bit... -.-
