So, Kris has been very creative this week...He picked up his tools once again & headed into the master bedroom & put the architraves to the double-sized wardrobe that he had put up when my parents first came to visit in 2004. Yupz... it's only taken him more than 2 years... But it's ok... cos at least he's completed it all in less than half a day. Now, I'm just waiting for him to pick those same tools again & complete the one in my office-cum-room. The pieces of wood are still hanging around in here & blocking my single-size wardrobe doors.
I guess he's just waiting for the right day when he can spend some time doing something indoors again... like a rainy day or something so that he couldn't do anything on his cars in the carport and workshed or continue on with building that retaining wall in the backyard.
Hmmmm.... yeah... that could be it....
But... he did take the time to move furniture around in the house. Hmmm.... I wonder....
Luckily today I made him move the dining set & storage back to their original places!! It had not been easy walking around the furniture just cos Kris feels that it looked nicer that the tables & chairs block the passage from the hallway, bedrooms & lounge into the kitchen. I'd stubbed my toes a few times... and lo and behold today he complained the house was in darkness... Well, of course it will be since the windows are covered by the storage!! ~sigh~ Oh well, no use lamenting, the furniture's home now. hehe...
Kris has taken the day off this Friday, so we would be going to see the venue we're planning to book for the wedding. And I'll have to remember to bring the measuring tape cos the papers the council gave me didn't include the plans of the venue & the measurements. Will need all that for the decorations & seating plans as well... I foresee going to that place a few times before the event just to have a look at it. And I also foresee that I may have to draw up the estimated "blueprints" & elevations myself so that my helpers can understand the charts when they're there to put everything into place in less than 2hrs. Anyway, that's for another post.
I'm just starting on my "Save The Date" stationery. Looks like I had to start being creative too...
oh, my back is aching!! Had been searching & downloading photoshop materials... ow ow owwwieee....
