Three Weeks On...
And I'm ready to get out of there!! If I can find another job right now, I'll walk out of that call centre with a feeling that can only be UTMOST FREEDOM!!! I don't mind the busy-ness & be on fault-call alerts one week out of a month... but I just can't stand the tight schedule of when we can actually take our 10mins break & what we can or cannot say in the office just in case we offend someone with our comments... and the icing on the cake, has to be the stringent way we have to answer & close our calls!! THIS IS SHIT... HOW MAY I HELP YOU?!...... THANK YOU FOR CALLING, IDIOT... GOODBYE. And you can't stray away from that AT ALL!!!! Can't say "HI"... Can't say "THANKS", must be THANK YOU... Can't say "BYE" or "BYE BYE", must be GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they have all these set of words we have to use... and how to react to every call/requests!!! AAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......

So, while I look for another job, I'm stuck with this job... just in case the next job takes another 1 year to source!! I dunno how long before I can't take it any further & say my long & final BYEEEEEE to the call centre!!! Then, I won't have to work with all those set call standards & old & crappy mainframe systems & I can store all those information I'm supposed to memorise during training, in the bin.... YEAH... I can't wait!!!

I'll see how it goes tomorrow... if I truly can't take it any further, I'll call the agency & tell them I've got another job somewhere. If you've got asked for your Ideal Job, well this has to be my IDEAL NIGHTMARE of a job!!

Well, at least my week went very nicely when Firdaus & his family came down to Perth for a week's holiday... Caught up with them at the apartments they stayed in & went to King Street Cafe - my fave... and after, we went for a late dinner at Makan² in Vic Park. I hope they enjoyed themselves... The next day, I went to their place again to pass a few things for them to help me bring back to Sgp. They were very kind indeed... and after putting the stuff into the appropriate bags, the 4 kids (plus Fir, of course) decided to see the sunset at King's Park... but it rained & they only managed to see the orange-gold strip in the far distance from the DNA Tower... I hope they went back to King's Park on Saturday after checkout. Cos they can see a lot more scenery of Perth during the day... and they can cross the glass bridge for a treetop walk... But, it seriously is nothing compared to the TreeTop Walk they would have gone through while in Denmark (yes, it's an area in South WA near Margaret River), but it'll be a nice view nonetheless....

Fir & Family... I hope u guys had a great holiday here in Perth... Even though it rained the whole time... It just happens to be a seriously rainy season at the beginning of winter... Anyway, stay in touch, ok?

Ok... I'm going offline now... Pretty much to do... Currently doing the laundry in wet & soggy Perth... Yes, fyi... it is still raining & hailing & thundering & splish-sploshing... And I still have to go to work tomorrow... Oh work!!! Don't let me start on that again!!!
